I'm sure at least one of my readers is a musical fan. You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown was never one of my favorites. At least, until I discovered someone that I felt would someday (even back then) be a rising star. That person is Kristin Chenoweth. She played Sally Brown in YGMCB. I felt she had one of those voices that didn't match her looks. I had a feeling she would just... I don't know... go somewhere. Then she was pegged to be Galinda in Wicked... and Lily in Disney's Annie. She also rocked as Ms. Noodle on Seasame Street (Mr. Noodle's cute sibling). This girl was really going somewhere! And had a voice that had near perfect pitch!!! WOAH!
She followed up these wonderful performances with countless TV appearances and movies, live action and cartoon. Although, right now, the roles she is noted for most are Galinda in Wicked and Olive Snook in Pushing Daisies (pity it has been canceled).
Getting back to the topic, when Cheno was in YGMCB, as Sally Brown, she sang a song about her new Philosophy. For Sally, this meant changing it every minute or couple of seconds. For me, my new way of thinking is anything is possible if you put your mind to it... even if it seems impossible. I think Sally would have done well with this thought. It could have incompassed every idea she had. LOL!
